Robin and blue tits

The robin is spending more time in the garden now. It flies back and forth from the gardens across the road.

Blue tits are now visiting the bird feeder.

Red Admiral

A sunny spell and a red admiral butterfly has been flying around the garden. I spent quite a while sunning itself on the wall outside our window.

At the bird feeder

A cold spell and the sparrows and starlings are using the new 'fat ball' holder I got for Christmas and attached to my existing feeding station.

A new year

Following a very busy year last year, partly due to catching up from a 2 month illness, I did not have time to update my wildlife sightings on this blog. A new year and a new years resolution will hopefully mean that this blog remains active through 2015
