Meadow Brown and Herring Gull Family

I have seen few butterflies this year so far. This is a meadow bown male resting on our window.

I have been watching the comings and goings of the herring gull nest viewed from the back of our house.

I think one of the herring gull chicks is missing.

This one is very active, but I have not seen both together for a few days.
